Went to Rockwood for a scenic drive plus breakfast. Stopped by this cafe, owner seemed friendly. The food wasn’t the greatest. Very basic sandwich and wrap which can be made better at home. Wouldn’t go back here for the food. Maybe the other stuff they sell is good.

Lovely little quaint spot! Stopped in for lunch, and couldn't have been happier with our choices. My husband had the daily pasta special, and it it was amazing! My husband was really happy with his choice. He said it was even better than high end pasta restaurants. I had the curried egg wrap with the broccoli salad, and really, really enjoyed it. It was very filling and absolutely delicious! The side salad was really tasty, and I wouldn't hesitate to get it again. You can tell the food is freshly made to order. The coffee was really good too! All in all, this little spot is definetly worth visiting, and we are so looking forward to going back.

Lovely venue with a great view. Tried the coffee and baked goods (pecan square) both excellent. Couldn’t stay as long as I’d like as I needed some wifi to get some work done on my laptop, however would recommend as a spot to catch up with friends

For all the times I went past this restaurant, today was my first time stopping in. I was unsure based on the reviews, however, since it had been recommended by someone I know, I finally gave it a shot. The restaurant is small and cozy and the kitchen is open to the public, which I like… Although there were tables available, I had already decided to do takeout. The lady taking orders was very friendly. The gentleman cooking was also nice and definitely appeared passionate about his food. He stepped in a few times to speak over her to explain the food. The coffee was pretty good and hot which is most appreciated! I had the ham and cheese sandwich with a side of brocoli salad. The sandwich was very big and filled with fresh ingredients. The side salad was quite small for an additional $5 but was good too.

Had a London fog and the chili, which was fantastic - the people working (I can only assume the gentleman was the owner) were very sweet, I brought my 9 month old daughter and they sliced up some extra cheese for her to have as a snack and were very accommodating. Would definitely go back, and excited to try their other food menu options

We were Australian tourists and stopped in Rockwood quite at random on our way back to Kitchener. There was a very peaceful park beside the Eramosa River where we stretched our legs. The cafe was across the road and we wanted to support the local businesses, so we did! The cafe has a wonderful old-world feel about it with a silver metal-beaten ceiling (see pic) and lots of wonderful decor of knick knacks and oddments. There were two staff, a friendly waitress and the cook, who I think was also the owner in an open kitchen. The menu was hand written in chalk and there was a variety of tempting specials. Two of us chose the quiche with a broccoli salad. The quiche was home made with a generous filling of vegetables and the salad was quite unusual and tasty. My wife had the California Wrap that had humus, baba ganoush, capsicum, avocado and cucumber in a wheat wrap that she said was delicious. Our other friend had the salmon bagel that he really enjoyed. With drinks the bill came to $72, very reasonable! Lovely local cafe with good fresh home made food, attractively presented, that deserves lots of patronage.

This is a very qauimt cafe with lots of options for some tasty food. The service was a bit lacking the afternoon we stopped in. I'm sure it's not usually. I asked for a water but never received it amd had to ask for a fork for my salad. Otherwise it's a must visit spot if your in the area. I had the California vegetable wrap with broccoli salad and a tea.

4 of us popped in for lunch the other day. Very charming village feel. It’s nice to support an independent restaurant. I ordered the 5 salad plate. It was delicious and I couldn’t finish it because the portion was so generous. My only feedback is that the bathroom needs some TLC.
